Our History
ACES GmbH was formed in 1999 out of the engineering firm Trautwein engineering, which was founded in 1994 in Stuttgart, Germany. The business activities were the provision of engineering services like the development, design and simulation of components or assemblies using the latest software and methods.
Since the beginning, the main focus of the development activities was on medical technologies. Due to the proximity to the automotive industry in the Stuttgart region, jobs from this branch were also processed. In 2000, more office space was needed and the office was relocated to Schoenaich near Boeblingen.
Because of the continuous and excellent collaboration with the Steinbeis-Institute BWF on materials and implant testing, the office was relocated to Esslingen, in direct proximity of the campus of the local University in October 2009.
